Our Academics
Valley View Boys Leadership Academy focuses on the development of the whole child. At the center of our focus is literacy development and strategic mathematical comprehension. To further enhance our young men, we also nourish our young men with a comprehensive leadership curriculum. As our young men develop in their core content courses, they are also immersed in enrichment courses to further enhance their growth as young men.
Innovation
During the Innovation Hour students will be engaged in opportunities to further their understanding of core curriculum and strengthen core skills
Science
A "Hands on/Minds on" learning environment will be the mantra for our young men. Students will engage in STEM tasks in which they will be fully immersed in the world of science.
English/Language Arts
Literacy is the primary focus of our curriculum. Students will be immersed in decoding, fluency, and the comprehension of complex texts
Social Studies
Understanding the past prepares you for the future. As our young men delve into rich historical texts, they will become informed leaders of tomorrow.
Mathematics
EnagageNY and Springboard Mathematics will anchor the math curriculum at Valley View Boys Leadership Academy
Enrichment
With the inclusion of a leadership curriculum, along with art, music, physical education and media, our students will be prepared to change the world around them.
